Warehouse District/North Loop

The Paz Loft embodies what the North Loop warehouse district in Minneapolis stands for: innovation, reuse of historical structures, and adding stylish urban living to the downtown area. We wanted more space in the gathering areas and smaller, cozier spaces for bedroom and closets. This former soap factory had a lot of cold surfaces, so we warmed it up with a gas fireplace and other exuberant details. This started as an idea for housing a design student while in college, and turned into an inspiring investment. We worked with our architects to create a new open floor plan that utilizes re-used materials, a lot of color, and affordable detailing including IKEA kitchens.
