Our project started with the idea for a built-in dining room bench. We wanted to seat more friends at the table so we called DiGiacomo Homes & Renovation – the company that turned our cluttered, musty, dark basement into a light, cozy, functional family room with gorgeous details befitting our Bungalow home. When discussing the new bench, our conversation wandered to the adjoining kitchen (also on our “to do” list). Our budget did not allow for an addition, but Rocky DiGiacomo designed a new kitchen that adds functionality within our home’s existing footprint and reintroduces some of the Craftsman-era details that disappeared when the previous homeowners remodeled in the ‘70s. Today is Feb. 23rd. Demolition on the kitchen has not started. Are we worried it won’t be done in time for the tour? Not a bit. We hired DiGiacomo.
